Valentines day is just around the corner and if you are still needing some inspiration for home made valentines, or just a holiday themed project, I’ve got you! We actually did this cute little art project last year, inspired by Cara and Kinley over @RaisingKinley on Instagram. We switched it up a bit this year by using Do-A-Dots. It was pretty mess free and London had fun mixing colors as well.
Here’s What You’ll Need…
- White or Light Colored Constructions Paper
- Paper Heart Doilies (I got mine at the Dollar Tree
Here’s What You’ll Do…
Start by taping your Heart Doilies to the construction paper, make sure the tape doesn’t show through any of the doily cutouts. Once you have the doily secured on the paper let your littles decorate. When they are all finished you peel the doily off the construction paper and you have these beautiful negative space hearts! Your kids will love to see the finished product. It’s purely magical to little London’s eyes light up.
